Lucid dreaming could be used for different purposes. People may want to try it just for fun, using it as a "safe drug", and having fun is an understandable reason for lucid dreaming. This might lead to problems of a bad nature. Probably the most common kind of division involves having problems distinguishing their dream memories from waking memories. Usually everyone who recalls at least one dream will have to sort out their dreams from real life after dreaming. This can really be a problem for those who have a bad memory, and due to lucid dreaming, some may find it getting worse. When people have fuzzy false memories to sort out, it could be difficult to figure out what is real aside from what is fantasy. This is unlikely to be an extensive problem, but could be a big annoyance. An example is when they misplace something, and somehow find it in a dream. If they cannot distinguish dream from reality they’ll now think they know where that item is. Even if they placed it where they’re sure they’ll find it later, it won’t be there when they wake
