Argument Analysis: Bodwell High School
Martin Luther King once said, “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.”Bodwell High School has 4 enormous leaders and King is one of them. Bodwell High School is an international private school located in North Vancouver, Canada offering grades 8 to 12. Bodwell was founded in 1991 by Paul Yuen. The Boarding Program has 350 boarding students. The program provides meals, beds, rooms etc. In my opinion, dorm should change because students need a higher quality, spacious living area and better place to hang out.
First of all, dorm should change because students need a better place to live. Students need a place that they can enjoy living if they’re not enjoying where they are living they are going to be sad, depressed and despondent. For example, this term we had a problem about our fridge because we have a lot of student in our dorm, there is a lot of food too because of the low quality, our fridge was smell so disgusting, awful and obnoxious. Dorm students need a place to hang out with their friends. They don’t have a place on the cafeteria. Usually cafeteria is crowded. That’s why they need a place in their dorm so they can hang out or chat with their friends. Also, every room is different and that is not equal. I’m staying in four student room and I have a friend who is staying four student room too but the rooms are so different. My room is bigger than her and I have a lot of space but her room is so small and there is no space to hang out. In my opinion, every dorm room should be the same size because all students deserve to have a certain amount of personal space, privacy, and quiet room that they can live.
