Ap Classes Vs Regular Classes Essay
AP and regular classes: they are the same class, same concept, but with different motives. AP classes are subjects that are built on original concepts that have been previously learned, heavily focused on quizzes, tests, and exams, while regular classes focus on classwork. The difference ? AP is a college level class. meaning rigorous and challenging, while regular classes are basic level classes having much more aid. The benefit; Both classes are beneficial. It depends what risks are you willing to take. I take AP Chemistry: easy math, but harder concepts. Two quizzes are given each week, followed with a unit exam, and units are usually done within a week. The first part is classwork; the second is labs. Students have to do twenty trials

Also group work doesn’t seem to go well in regular classes because it's more of a social hour rather than an actual study session. Furthermore individual work in regular classes helps get work done much quicker leading to no homework that night. Even so that individual work makes understanding the concept easier with less distractions. It works best in regular classes because majority of the class time is spent reviewing and starting the homework in class. Additionally the act of making decisions is much easier because it's your own opinion. In the end though you're the only one responsible for your work and the one that gets the credit. There's no worry of being taken advantage of.
Overall, the main difference between AP and regular classes is the level of risks oneself is willing to take. They need to be mentally prepared and are willing to take the challenge that awaits them. Long hours of homework and tests are ready to be served as soon as you enter the room. Regular classes prepare to babied and given the assumption that you’re too dumb for the course when in reality you’re not. In the end it’s all about the effort you’re willing to put in and what you want to get out of the
