Analyzing Victor Oladipo's The Orlando Magic
The Orlando Magic franchise is slowly rising back up to prominence with their young crop of talent. Victor Oladipo has quickly become the star of this team in just two years in the NBA. Nikola Vucevic and Tobias Harris are just two of the top prospects to grab in your fantasy drafts this season. The Magic have one of the most young talented teams coming out of the Eastern Conference. These are three guys who I want to spotlight that I firmly believe will be big time fantasy contributors in 2015-16:
Victor Oladipo Shooting Guard
Oladipo is coming in to this third year with the Magic and has taken the league by storm. He sports career averages of 15.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. Oladipo also sports nice field goal and free …show more content…
He has done his best job to prove his talents to the world with his efforts during this summer’s team USA camp. During camp, his court awareness and passing vision both looked vastly improved, which makes him even more valuable in all fantasy formats.
One other thing to take into account when looking at drafting Oladipo is the fact that he is a third year player. Why does this have anything to do with fantasy stats you may be asking? Well, look at other NBA stars third seasons in the league and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Both Paul George and Derrick Rose had massive third years and Oladipo will follow this trend. He will average anywhere around 18 points, six rebounds and five assists per game this season for your fantasy team.

You should be able to sneak him on to your rosters with a fairly late draft pick and potentially have a guy who will roughly get you around 10 points, five rebounds and seven assists per game.
Aaron Gordon Power Forward
Both Oladipo and Payton are solid options for fantasy this season but Gordon is very intriguing for me. Last season his stats weren’t overwhelming by any means but he did put up decent numbers in just 17 minutes per game. Gordon’s 2014-15 stat lines consisted of 5.4 points and 3.6 rebounds respectively.
After seeing some of Gordon’s stats from of his summer league action, I’ve became a firm believer in the guy. During summer league play, he led everyone in rebounds and showed a much improved jump shot. He average 21.7 points and 11.7 points per game, and even made half of his three point shots. This performance could very well serve as a stepping stone for Gordon to come out of the shadows and benefit your fantasy team this year.
Channing Frye is Gordon’s main competition this year within the starting five, and he could very well leap over him with ease. Gordon reminds us all of a young Shawn Marion who can greatly impact not only the offensive flow of the game, but also the defensive side of the ball as
