An experience
AN UNFORGETABLE MOMENT in MY LIFE It is safe to say that almost everyone in this world has experienced a moment that he or she will not be able to forget for the rest of life. I am no exception. I have experienced so many mystery things in my life. Some of them were strange, some were creepy and others were interesting. However, the moment that I remember the most was the time when a mysterious and invisible person saved me from the death. In short, I had experience what we now called paranormal phenomenon. “Paranormal phenomenon is a general term that designates experiences that lie outside "the range of normal experience or scientific explanation" or that indicates phenomena understood to be outside of science 's current ability to explain or measure.” (Orapello) On the other hand, paranormal relates to unexplained subjects such as ghosts, spiritual entities, extraterrestrial life and so on. My story was related to spiritual entity subject.
It was a summer day in my Great Grandma’s hometown. My whole family was gathering at my Great Grandma’s house to plan for our summer vacation. Me, my twin sister and my cousins were extremely happy seeing each other. Then, suddenly my cousins came up with the idea that we all would go swimming in the huge river behind my Great Grandma’s house. They all knew how to swim and were really good at it but not us. My twin sister and I did not even dare to go near by the water just because our mom always told us so. However, it was so hot that day and the thinking of floating along in the cool water made me come up with the silliest idea ever. I told my sister to sneak out the house by the back door and went swimming without asking mom for permission. Unfortunately, my idea was a mistake.
When we were there at the river’s shore, I suddenly forgot everything that my mom always said. I just wanted to jump right into the cool water but suddenly I remembered that I did now know how to swim and neither was my twin. “Don’t worry!

It was summer time and I was wearing my West Scranton football shorts and shirt, it was a normal day in the summer I was sitting in my living room with the air conditioner turned all the way down to 60 to get a cool breeze. I was watching Iron man but I really was not that into I kept drifting off and thinking what I should do with my day. My older brothers Shawn and Anthony came to the door around 2 in the afternoon and asked me if I wanted to go swimming. I quickly galloped up the stairs and asked my mother if I could go, she said yeah just be safe. So we left and went to a place called the “Rez” it was a place where high school and college kids go to jump off rocks and have a good time, it was a nice area surrounded by…

This experience has been one of the most outlandish and eerie that one could of imagined. Most things in life can be explained rationally and with little thought to the reason or logic behind them, however what I have experienced is quite the conflicting to what I would usually be inclined to think. There must be some type of phenomenon that makes one feel as though one has left the natural world. These occurrences leave no room for logic, rationalization or justification.…

There is a strong relation, throughout history, between religion as a belief, and the idea of ghosts as a part of this belief. Some ethnic groups believe in spirits and they do some religious rituals as a way of getting closer to the souls of the ancestors and satisfying them. Native American believes in reincarnation of their ancestor's souls. Also, Tlingit ethnic groups in Alaska and other ethnic groups in Australia and Africa believe in reincarnation. This relates to our subject through the idea of transportation of spirit, as invisible thing, to another creature or inanimate being and they can contact with them through some rites. The faith of hidden forces, believing in the supernatural, reincarnation, soul restriction, soul liberty or…

Despite my opinion that life in itself is supernatural I recognize the possibility that there are degrees of paranormal. For example, to quote Singer from Lost "hidden powers that no one can explain exist everywhere." There is the supernatural that we see but don't recognize and then there is the supernatural that hovers about us without our knowledge. Finally, there is the inexplicable supernatural which we mostly avoid because as humans we reject that which we…

We were so happy, I started explaining to her where we were, how the place looked like and that there was a big garbage can, as I explain tears dripped from my eyes. We hugged each other, cried, and stayed put right next to the garbage can. We finally saw my mother’s silver BMW car. We slowly walked towards the car, making sure that it was my mother or one of our parents are in there. I then saw my mother did something with her hand, I know what that meant to hurry up, I told my little cousins to hurry up and get in the car, we ran as fast as we could towards the car and got in. Since then my little cousins and I learned a very big and important lesson that we will never forget, it to your pacings with your family, close and to tell them that you need a break if you are losing your…

It was a beautiful July day in 2014 when my family and I were camping at Holland Lake with our family friends Kinsey and Lauren. There wasn't a cloud in sight and the sun reflected off the bluish greenish water. The air smelt of smoke and fresh trees. Early in the morning when the campground is quiet you can even hear the waterfall. Holland Lake is a very busy lake with boaters, tubers, water skiers, ect. Since that day was so nice there were a bunch of boats on the lake the waves were huge. Kinsey, Lauren, Alex and I were all pretty close in age but Alex and Lauren were taller so they get the outside of the tube. When we all finished breakfast I changed into my swimming suit speedy fast and rode my bike as fast as I could to my cousins camper, Alex. I had to wait what felt like 5 hours for her to change. Once she was done we waited for Kinsey and Lauren at ¨The Beach¨. Alex and I killed time by talking about how much fun we were going to have…
