A Christian Baptist Church Experience
Growing up in a Christian Baptist Church, I was able to experience the great communion of people coming together who loved Jesus. Even though I was extremely involved in the church, I attended a public school filled with different beliefs, distractions, and hate towards God.
As I fell between my church life and school life, I entered into the cruel distractions presented to me by those I attended school with. I continued to live my life filled with sin and disregard for God, even though he stood by my side through all my betrayal. As God stood by my side, so did the members of my church, who loved me through it all.
While I fell away from God, my “church family” embraced me, showing me the importance of involvement within a Christian community.
