I did fairly enjoy reading this week about Voltaire’s Candide‚ or Optimism. I could vividly picture what was happening with all of the twists and turns involved in the story. It was not until that I looked at the video the professor had about this reading that it was a spoof. It remained me of the spoof movies of Scary Movie with Wayans brothers.
