What is the psychometric test? A psychometric test is a set of items that are designed to measure characteristics of human beings that pertain to behavior. Behavior is an observable and measurable action. Psychometric testing is not just the another subject that we may study in college,but it is a topic that personally affects many individuals, and the results of these test are used in ways that significantly affect us and those around us. For example, test scores are used to diagnose mental disorder, to determine whether medicines should be prescribed, to treat mental and emotional illnesses, to select individual for jobs, to select individual for undergraduate and professional schools. Psychometric test also has been used to all organization for a part of job application filtering process. There are three necessary doing psychometric test for job application filtering test are help understand the abilities, motivations and personal working style.
Good psychometric test determine how an individual is likely to perform. Through this test we can measure ability them. How they handle and relate with the customers is the one of ability that they should have. In business always said that customer is always right. We must treat them patiently and satisfied them. How they handle stress also one of ability. We must using this psychometric test to measure their stress level because for the future they will know how to handle their stress if they facing any problems about their job. "The mentality can go whether to positive or to negative: on or off. Consider it a range whose extremes are obviousness at the negative closure and hyperconsciousness at the positive close. The way the brain will incline under push is positively affected via training”. (Miller, Mclntire & Lovler). Will they give the good paperwork? If they can give good paperwork, it is most important to keep them working. At that point we can tailor our motivating force plans and preparing and improvement
