Zeus Greek God
Zeus is a very interesting God, because is the most powerful God in all of Olympia. There are many reasons why Zeus is my favorite Greek god, but here are a few. One interesting fact is that the “Temple of Zeus” in Olympia, Greece is one of the Ancient Wonders of the World. It use to contain a huge statue of Zeus and was built in honor of him. Ancient Greeks believed that Zeus had a winged horse Pegasus that carried a set of lighting bolder and that he trained an eagle to retrieve them once he has thrown them. Zeus had affairs with the following Goddesses; Aegina, Alcmena, Calliope, Cassiopea, Demeter, Dione, Europa, Io, Leda, Leto, Mnemosyne, Niobe, Persephone and Semele. One of Zeus’ well know child is Athena. eus also had other powers. “He could mimic people's voices to sound like anyone. He could also shape shift so that he looked like an animal or a person. …show more content…
