Say yes to Cell Phone!

Is using cell phone or any electronics in school a bad thing? Well, I strongly believe using a phone or any electronics isn’t a bad idea. All teenagers or children who use their electronics know it’s really risky to use them in school. What does “phone” mean to the school? I think it’s very simple it means bad for the student, but is it really true? In My opinion, I think that any teens in school should allow using their phone!

Teenagers love their cell phone a lot. But those staff in school doesn’t believe cell phone is useful Cell phone aren’t a harmful item. They aren’t like gun that can shoot you. Phone can help student to be more neat and organized sometimes. We can use it as a resource like dictionary. Many of times, student use cell phone as an education tools. For example, internet service for note, organized things, homework or as a calculator. In either case, not just student believe cell phone technology makes it a valuable learning but some teachers’ too. However the teachers can’t do anything about it, because it is against the rule or the law.

On the other hand, phone is like a school safety for many parents’. Remember, parents’ would always want their children to be safe. They argue that in case of an emergency, they want immediately access to their kids. Parent never wants their kids to be in danger. Safety for their kids is the most important thing for the!

No matter what student say, the law wouldn’t change. Other teacher might feel that cell phone a distraction, dishonest, and disrespectful. Things they consider is really bad are the uses of phone for cheating on a tests or quiz’s. Of course, they also think that student find distraction in class when other students using their phone. If you ask any teachers, I guaranty that they would say phone affects education!

The best solution is very simple, let the kids use their phone in school. It’s not only what the student want, but most of the parents

To start off, cellphones should not be allowed in school because they can interrupt the class and teacher. For example, if a professor is teaching a class a new lesson and suddenly a cellphones starts to ring, the teacher will have to stop the class and talk to the pupil. After that, they would have to remember their “train of thought”. Additionally, cellphones can interrupt the class when an exam or quiz is in session. In a recent article done by the New York Times, it was stated that 75% of an eighth grade class failed their state exam because of a cellphone interruption. In other words, the cellphone was “yelling” really loud, the students were not concentrating and it was difficult to turn off.…

After reviewing Sheyenne's cell phone policy and researching the benefits and drawbacks of cell phones, I urge you to revise the cell phone policy, and allow more cell phone use in the school. Cell phones are permitted in certain parts of the school, but the technology needs to be integrated into the classrooms. With this incorporation of technology in the classroom it can provide more depth in the lesson, and collaboration among students. Some teachers may see the use of cell phones in the classroom as disrespectful. They perceive this as disrespectful, for they took time to prepare the lesson, and the student is not paying attention. In actuality the student is not disturbing others, and if they decide to not pay attention,…

First of all, when I was a student in high school, there many students were bringing their phones with them inside school. Even though, bringing phones in school was not allowed, the students did not care so much about it. As a result of that, the administration of the school became so strict about this issue. For example, I remember the administration had issued some procedures to stop students from bringing their phones at school time so at the beginning of school time in the morning, there teachers, who were standing at the entrance of school, were inspecting students to make sure that they do not bring their phones during school time. Even though, the rigor of the administration in this issue was strict, there still students were bringing their phones. For example, during class time, there were two students, who had been caught while using their phones during class, said that they could not stay away from their phones even for a secant, and also they mentioned that they sometime slept while their phones were on and next them. All in all, this issue could be a hundred percent fixed because many of teen students are really addicted and hardly to be fixed.…

There is more than one side to the debate about cell phone availability during school. One claim is that students should be allowed to have their phones on them and use their cell phones during appropriate times. In the article, the authors provide details about how there are numerous reasons why cell phones should be allowed during school. Students should be allowed access to cell phones, because if they are responsible enough to be going off to college in a year or so, they should be responsible enough to have a cell phone on them and use it wisely (George and Cook). Another reason why cell phones should be allowed in school is because otherwise it can create a divide between the students and the teachers. Students are so invested in their phones, so if a teacher…

Phones shouldn’t be permitted at school because they can be a big distraction to learning. Most teachers approve of my outlook on cellphones. Texting during instruction can hurt your grades. Grades on report cards are stumpy due to cell phones. The purpose is because many students don’t participate in instruction instead they are texting, or on the web. (Pew Research survey states) "In 2008 76% student’s texted in class…

In recent times, the number of people owning mobile phones has increased dramatically. Now mobile phones are not just for calling, but you can now text, take and send pictures, record videos, access the internet, play games and much more. Students use their cell phones to play games, listen to MP3 music, text message each other (a big one), and even access the Internet, among other things. Keep in mind that our kids are supposed to be learning at school. Right? Also, sadly there is a new source of bullying, in that if a student does not have the “popular type” of cell phone or one of the fancy features, he or she can can often be looked down on by their peers. Mobile phones have definitely become a status symbol for young people. If a student is texting during class they cannot put their full, divided attention into what the teacher is saying, there for what is the point of trying to explain something to someone who isn’t paying attention. Teachers come to school to educate students because it is their job, and they find it disrespectful if a student isn’t listening. Students who have their cell phone in class can use it to cheat. They can text another person and ask them the questions on the test, or the assignment they are given. This causes a problem because it can be very simple to do. Teachers pay attention to their students, but they cannot watch all of them at the same time. During a test it is more easier to catch a student who is text messages, but during regular class it can be easy to miss. Cell phones enable students to cheat fairly…

School 's have safety and convenience in mind, too, but they often view the presence of cell phones as detracting from both. First, the presence of cell phones can be disruptive to the business of school. When students are engaged in texting and calling each other, it interrupts classes, creates drama that must then be sorted out by staff, and distracts students from the real reason they are in school. When cell phones inevitably go missing or are stolen, schools wind up devoting precious time dealing with the aftermath.…
