Y/N's POV: A Short Story
Y/N’s POV:

“So, how are we going to catch this Nogitsune and save Lydia?” I was sitting down on the couch in a crossed-legged position. It was late and I wanted to go to bed, but of course they needed me at the pack meeting. “Maybe we should go all together and try to catch him.” Scott proposed. I cleared my throat. “Suicide mission.” Isaac, who was standing opposite of me, was looking at me. “What did you say?” “I said that it’s going to be a suicide mission if we all go there at the same time.” He began laughing. “Come on Y/N, you’re not even smart enough to come up with a plan. You’re even worse than Stiles.” I looked over at Stiles and he was looking angrily at Isaac. Now I began laughing. “Maybe you should have stayed in the freezer.”

Due to the Nogitsune, I had to attend every pack meeting in the evening. “Let’s just watch some Netflix and grab some popcorn.” I said to myself and swiped through the movies.

Isaac’s POV:

I was finally done with my task and headed over to Scott’s house, where I was staying. “Where’s everybody?” I was confused. “They headed home.” “But Y/N was supposed to stay here.” “Since when do you care about her?” My eyes were turning yellow as I pushed Scott against the wall, my claws against his skin. He threw me against the other wall and I fell to the ground. “Isaac, let me talk!” But before he could get another word out of his mouth, I grabbed him and threw him away. “Why didn’t you save her?” “Isaac, she’s-” My fist landed on his jaw. And it went on like this for a long time.

The front door was open, which was strange. I walked upstairs. “Scott, I just wanted to check on every-” My eyes widened at what I was seeing. Scott and Isaac were fighting. “What the hell is going on here?!” They both looked at me and Isaac threw Scott off him. He ran towards me and, he hugged me? I tried to escape out of his grip, but because of his werewolf strength, I eventually gave up. I felt tears falling down on my shoulders. Was he really crying? I hugged him back, surprising him. “I’ll leave you two alone.” Before I could complain, he ran down the stairs. Isaac let me go, and grabbed my hands. “I- I thought you were dead or something, because you didn’t c-” “He didn’t tell you?” He let go of my hands and took a step back. “Who didn’t tell me what?” I was so stupid, of course Scott didn’t tell Isaac. “Scott, but I thought he would tell you after the mission.” “Tell me what?” “That I didn’t want to join the mission...” I was looking down at my shoes. “And why didn’t Scott tell me that?” “Because you would insult me, like you always do.” I walked away from him. “But I guess I’m done here so I’ll just g-” He grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards him. “I did it to keep you safe.” “So you called me useless and dumb in front of everyone to keep me safe from what?” He sighed and took me to his room to sit down on his bed. “I didn’t want you to help us, because I don’t want you to get

Later, just a couple of minutes before Prep, I sat by the phone rooms, nauseous about how I would break the world-shattering news to Sophie. Ah, my beloved Sophie, we dated last year until she saw Matt Shauman. But I would have won her back with these tickets. Maybe I can say that I was suspended and Max will get them for her, so as not to break her fragile heart. So, plucking up my last piece of courage, I entered a phone cubicle and dialled her boarding house’s number. Brrrr, Brrrr, with numb fingers, they shook like an earthquake, so wedging the phone between my shoulder and ear, my breathing…

“Ugh!”, he grunts from how large the suitcase is. “Will you be able to carry that, Scottie?” she says, her face, worn from time, twists with concern for her son. “Of course”, he laughs. “Okay, if you’re sure.” She says as she opens the metal gate to the front yard. They slowly walk through the cracked pathway until they reach the steps to the porch. Beatrice opens the sturdy door with her keys. “Honey, I’m home!” Scottie yells into the empty living room. “Must you do that every time you come inside the house?” She says fondly. “Of course, I must.” He says as if she should already have known the answer. While they were talking, Alice and Jake, Scottie’s younger siblings, heard his announcement and excitedly ran out of their room and down the beige stairs. “Stop making all that racket!” she admonishes her children. “SCOTTIE!” they yell out enthusiastically. “You’re home!” Alice states, full of wonder that her big older brother is finally back where he belongs. “Well, it’s obvious that I’m home unless I’m an imposer who’s secretly an alien”, He jokes, winking at Alice. “I definitely didn’t miss your humor,” Jake lightheartedly says. “Oh, come on, I tell the best jokes”, Scottie says smiling. “Yeah right, in your dreams”, Jake jokingly teases. “Leave your brother alone for right now. He had a long trip and he’s probably exhausted.” Beatrice gently tells to her…

    | I left all the foils and equipment and stuff on the goddam subway. It wasn't all my fault. I had to keep getting up to look at this map, so we'd know where to get off. So we got back to Pencey around two-thirty instead of around dinnertime. The whole team ostracized me the whole way back on the train. It was pretty funny, in a way.…

I came back to the house after dropping Lauren off at school to find Noah back at the house. "I thought I told you to leave?" I asked. "You did but I never left," he replied calmly. "Why?" I asked. "Because we need to talk about custody," he replied,"I was thinking I get half and you get half." "I don't want to just see my baby half of her life," I yelled. "Well neither do I," he yelled back. "Why can't we just be happy together and give Lauren a good childhood?" I asked. "I don't know. Where did we go wrong?" Noah replied. "I have no idea. Could we maybe give us another chance?" I asked shyly. "I... Um..... Guess we can try," he gave in. "Thank you," I said as I hugged him. We're going to fight for our…

“Your father’s no better than the niggers and trash he works for!”. Suddenly I couldn’t move. Scout had to drag me along, and I don’t remember much from that trip to the stores. We walk by Mrs. Dubose’s, and she is not at her usual place on the porch. Instantly my arms come to action as if they had a mind of their own. I was thrashing and beating the camellia bush, and then I was thrashing and beating Scout. I hardly noticed the transition from bush to Scout. I kicked her too hard on accident, but I couldn’t bring myself to apologize. She got in my way, and that was her fault. She acts like such a little girl sometimes.…
