I came back to the house after dropping Lauren off at school to find Noah back at the house. "I thought I told you to leave?" I asked. "You did but I never left," he replied calmly. "Why?" I asked. "Because we need to talk about custody," he replied,"I was thinking I get half and you get half." "I don't want to just see my baby half of her life," I yelled. "Well neither do I," he yelled back. "Why can't we just be happy together and give Lauren a good childhood?" I asked. "I don't know. Where did we go wrong?" Noah replied. "I have no idea. Could we maybe give us another chance?" I asked shyly. "I... Um..... Guess we can try," he gave in. "Thank you," I said as I hugged him. We're going to fight for our

“Ugh!”, he grunts from how large the suitcase is. “Will you be able to carry that, Scottie?” she says, her face, worn from time, twists with concern for her son. “Of course”, he laughs. “Okay, if you’re sure.” She says as she opens the metal gate to the front yard. They slowly walk through the cracked pathway until they reach the steps to the porch. Beatrice opens the sturdy door with her keys. “Honey, I’m home!” Scottie yells into the empty living room. “Must you do that every time you come inside the house?” She says fondly. “Of course, I must.” He says as if she should already have known the answer. While they were talking, Alice and Jake, Scottie’s younger siblings, heard his announcement and excitedly ran out of their room and down the beige stairs. “Stop making all that racket!” she admonishes her children. “SCOTTIE!” they yell out enthusiastically. “You’re home!” Alice states, full of wonder that her big older brother is finally back where he belongs. “Well, it’s obvious that I’m home unless I’m an imposer who’s secretly an alien”, He jokes, winking at Alice. “I definitely didn’t miss your humor,” Jake lightheartedly says. “Oh, come on, I tell the best jokes”, Scottie says smiling. “Yeah right, in your dreams”, Jake jokingly teases. “Leave your brother alone for right now. He had a long trip and he’s probably exhausted.” Beatrice gently tells to her…

"Okay. Thank you," I said. "Anytime. Love you," she said. "Love you too. Bye," I responded as I hung up. I unlocked the door and opened it. When I stepped out I noticed Val was standing in front of the door. "Why are you up," I asked. "You never bring you phone to the bathroom and when you do it freaks me out," he said. "Okay?" I said. He looked me in the eyes for a second and the said," do you really not want to get married?" "I...I don't know," I said. "Well it's either all in or all out. I'm not going to be in a relationship where your not 100% committed," he said. "Val," I said as tears formed in my eyes," just give me some time to think please." "No Jen if you aren't going to be committed, how will I know if you'll even show up for the wedding?" He said angrily. "You know what if you don't give me any choice in this, we're through," I said. "Here's your stupid ring. Now get your stuff and get out," I screamed throwing my ring at him. He went into my room and packed up all his stuff and walked out, slamming the door behind him. When I heard the door close, I knew it was over. I fell down and sobbed. A few seconds later I felt someone come hug me. I looked up to see Addison. I fell on her and cried…

It all began with a simple phone call one night after dinner. “Joe,” my father hollered up the stairs, “it’s for you. It’s Jackie, and she sounds upset.” As I came downstairs to pick up the phone, I was not happy. I was tired and had looked forward to a nice and quiet evening at home, not another stupid adventure with Jackie.…

I have been waiting here for two whole dull years. It is dreadfully space less in this ridiculous lamp. Why did I believe that dirty street rat Aladdin to use my third wish to turn into a genie? I should have used it to be with Jasmine forever. I love her so much. My name is Jafar and I am (or was) the most powerful sorcerer in the world, until I turned into a genie, and I am a lover of Princess Jasmine of Agrabah. You see, I just wanted to be Jasmine’s love. I could not do that if there was another man involved! I had to get rid of him once and for all. It all started when I really knew that I had to be with her. I made a plan. I was following Jasmine in the market to make sure she was not acting as she was “on the market”, when I caught her run away with a dirty little peasant! He isn’t even a prince, being with him is strictly prohibited! I was so heartbroken, so I sent the palace guards to go find that boy, and capture him, saying it was for stealing, so that I could give him a little talk. They got him, so my plan was headed in the right direction. When Jasmine came back to the palace, she was mad at me for arresting this fool who she recalls is named “Aladdin”. What an ugly name! Mrs. Jafar tops Mrs. Aladdin by a long shot. I did not understand why she got upset about it, I was trying to make sure she was getting the best for her, (and I am the best). That night I went down to the cellar to talk to this “Aladdin”. I made sure I was in disguise so he couldn’t recognize me; I mean, who doesn’t know me? The wonderful-handsome-rich Jafar, Grand Vizier of Agrabah. I think he bought it, because he did not seem to be star-stricken. I made him trust me then I turned it all around when I set him into a trap! Legend has it, only a “Diamond in the Rough” can retrieve a magic lamp, currently in the Cave of Wonders. There was a genie with 3 wishes inside the lamp. I would use them all to call Jasmine my princess! I told him I could get him out…

I told her I did not feel we should continue to see each other.” I asked, “So what did she say?” He continued “She said just give it more time.” After a moment of silence, he took my hand and said, “We’ve worked together for years and you have always stayed in my corner. I feel you’re the only family I have here.” I smiled and thought well that good to hear. I’ll help you out when I can. The next day we were at work and he was taking out the trash. It all began with a simple phone call one chilly, rainy Monday night after dinner. “Joe,” my mother hollered up the stairs, “it is Jackie.” As I came downstairs to pick up the phone, I was quite excited.
