The main and arguably the most crucial feature of effective partnership working are clear, concise and considered communication between all relevant parties.
It is important that each person within the partnership has the best interests of the children, a shared vision and aims at the forefront of their thinking and motivation.
Working together as a united team are key aspects of working in Partnership.
It is important to build and maintain good working relationships that are positive. Respect, understanding, sharing of information and regular contact are also of vital importance.

It is important to work in partnership with colleagues, so as to provide consistent care and education for the children within our care. It is important to work together so that the children are being cared for safely and efficiently. It is important that all colleagues within the team share the same principles of childcare to ensure the safety and appropriate development levels for all children.
In addition to my colleagues that work within the setting on a daily basis I also have regular contact with other professionals such as Speech and Language Therapists, Social Workers, Link Teachers, Inspectors, Assessors, and other Nursery Managers etc. In order to provide high quality care to children positive relationships and good communication must be maintained between all the professionals aforementioned. It is essential that I am familiar with the correct channels and appropriate people to communicate with in particular situations e.g. with safeguarding concerns.
I am confident that I can access relevant information and advice from other professionals as necessary. Each different profession has a different area of expertise and working within a partnership means you’ re able to utilise a wealth of expertise you may not have previously had access
