Why I Want To Be Unbanned
My dad once told me, "If it isn't just then make it right." I have stuck with these words ever since I was little. Now I am 14 and I have faced this obstacle in my life. I have been perma-banned. I don't know how this could be, I've never done anything wrong or hurt anybody. The only thing I can remember I did wrong was to say in chat, "ayye lmao." But that's it. I really appreciate you guys making a fun and lively server and that' why I want to be unbanned because I want to have fun with everyone.

I was finally beginning to get the hang of things but I just get banned. I think you should unban me because I haven't done anything to hurt anybody. There comes a time where you can't trust people I understand but I swear I'm INNOCENT I

I want to be Confirmed because it’s a way for me to feel closer to God and the church. Confirmation to me means accepting your responsibility for your faith and destiny, and becoming closer with God. I have done many things this year to start preparing for Confirmation. For example I have been going to church more often, praying every night, before I eat and before I go to bed. I have done some services for St. John the Baptism, for example I attended the picnic, I will also be attending at the fish fry this Friday. I know I haven't done a lot of services for this church but I have done more services in different other places. Doing services it has impacted me because I like to do good for whoever needs me, it has s also helped me realize…

The people who chose to ban this book did have a point, that foul language and violence is not good for a young student to read, but the good in this book should cover up the bad. The foul language in this book was strictly two words, and they were nothing that most students in my school wouldn’t know. As along with the violence, there are video games and movies that have much more intense violence in them, and much younger people view…

I have been called boring. That is not the case! Well, I will let you decide. Here is a look into my personal life. I am a parent of 2 kids. I used to be married to Audrey Kingsworth-Trump, but we got divorced because she didn’t appreciate my personality. She is already dead to me. I have forgotten about her completely and have moved on. I am now remarried to a Mary Magador, who is currently a music professor at the same university in which I enrich the minds of adolescences with knowledge of English Language Arts and Literature. When I heard that my son, Leo, was starting to read a banned book in school, I was appalled! Banned books were banned for a reason! Why on earth are we letting previously banned books back into our society? This is…

Go Ask Alice should be taught in language arts curricula’s. Any piece of literature that pushes boundaries in school systems is then questioned whether or not it should be taught. Without this type of literature students would never be able to truly benefit from the quality of these extraordinary books. Commonly, books that have the potential to change student's perspectives are the ones that are banned; novels such as Go Ask Alice have the ability to benefit students.…

The one time that I felt like I could get away with disobeying and then I got busted. I was officially grounded for one month, which meant only driving the car to school and back. My social life became dead for the next month considering that I wasn’t allowed to hang out with friends. I learned a valuable lesson about obedience and how I should obey these rules at all times. An example of obedience is, sometimes as humans we think that we can get away with things that don’t seem that big of a deal at the time. My mom told me this story, which taught me a valuable lesson. The story was about this lady who was driving home from church. It was too much of a hassle to put her baby in his or her seatbelt properly so she thought it would be okay to hurry and drive home holding her child, considering that they only lived a block away. After a few miles she got in a car accident and the airbag killed her child immediately. If she would have only obeyed the laws and put her child in the seatbelt like she was supposed to do then she would have never lost her child who she loved so dearly. She had to live with knowing that her child would never have the opportunity to live another day. She would never be able to see her child graduate from high school, get married, and become a mother of her own children. Day by day she faces the choice that she made and she will forever regret that poor decision. So next time you disobey the rules which you were given, think about this mother and the pain that she has to go through each day. We have rules here for a reason, which will help us in the long run. Next time you get asked to do something that you know is disobedient to the rules will you do…

If we could define our society by just one tool, it would be the internet. We use it to communicate, catch the latest news, research a topic, manage our finances, and so much more. Through the internet, individuals have been able to voice their opinion to millions. YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and other websites have become the greatest platform for free speech in the history of mankind. But many view this platform for speech as potentially dangerous. Racist groups use the web to promote their causes. Even worse, criminals will use the internet as an instrument of evil. They can spread child pornography, or teach others to make bombs for use in a deadly terrorist attack. With problems like these, we must ask: What is the role of government in…

“Congress shall make no law…abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press” (Roleff, Barbour, and Szumski 5). Controversy surrounds the topic of censorship. Americans generally believe in the freedom of speech and expression, but some citizens of the liberal USA support censorship. Globally speaking, censorship is not really a topic of discussion, it just exists. Librarians have struggled with censorship over the years and the development of new technology and communication has made the predicament even worse. The situation with censorship is akin to walking a desert filled with land mines; at any moment any idea or opinion once held near and dear may end up blown to smithereens. In a world where censorship is examined the lines between black and white begin to haze and everything turns into ten shades of gray.…

    Freedom of Speech

The First Amendment to the United States Constitution is part of the Bill of Rights. The amendment prohibits the making of any law "respecting an establishment of religion", impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances. The article, “Protecting Freedom of Expression on The Campus,” by Derek Bok opens with a life changing scenario and information regarding the freedom of speech for those on the Harvard campus. Bok’s article voices his opinion about the First Amendment and should it make it okay to act upon racist acts, such as those that occurred on Harvard’s campus. As Bok stated in his essay, “two students hung Confederate flags in public view, upsetting students who equate the Confederacy with slavery. A third student tried to protest the flags by displaying a swastika” (Bok 172). This incident brought about many discussions and disagreements among many people on and off the campus. Bok writes a very sufficient and informative article by using pathos, ethos, and logos frequently.…
