Why I Love Canada Essay
Canada is an awesome country, and I love it for so many reasons. There’s hockey, poutine and much more. Those are great things, but there’s more to being the one country that I love the most. We are amazing because of our cultural diversity. We are amazing because we have the world’s number one source of freshwater. I could go on and on, but this essay would be too long, so I will stick to what I love most about Canada.

Firstly, I love Canada because we have free healthcare. If you unexpectedly get hurt, or if you were ill, it isn’t to pay to see a doctor and get treatment. Canada agrees, and that is why free healthcare exists. I think being in good health is one of the most important things in life because you can’t be you without it. This also benefits for the poor, as they may not afford regular healthcare that needs to be paid for. They will also be more in equality with the rich. There are many economically successful countries, like the United States of America, that don’t have free healthcare, unlike Canada. This really makes our nation stand out.

Canada generally has fresher air than other countries that have cities filled with smog and pollution. Even the cities in Canada have dedicated a fair amount of land for parks, trees and wildlife. Canada is also a safe country. Guns are illegal in Canada. The crime rate is significantly lower than a lot of other countries, where the main headlines on the news are always about violence. Canada is safe, which means it must also be peaceful. Think of the wrong that’s happening in our world (terrorism and warfare, to name a few). Here in Canada, you don’t need to walk on the streets, afraid that something bad is going to happen. You don’t need to fear the people surrounding you, or the police cars driving by. Here in Canada, you can feel more at home because of the nature and

Our stereotypical Canada house is repressing many aspects in how people view Canada as a nation. Canadians believe that they are the founders of ice hockey, making them very proud of the sport which is also a big part on how people perceive Canada. You could think of it as a big family, us Canadians. Some of canada's favourite team are Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, Vancouver Canucks, Ottawa Senators and so on. What all these teams have in common is that they can all cooperate together to perform an honourable game. Whether you like hockey or not, if you live in Canada it is a part of who you are. That is what makes Canada a hockey nation.…

Yes, I agree with the United Nations about their decision to rank Canada as one of the best countries to live in. Canada is a wonderful place to live thanks to how diverse it is. This country is filled with people from different cultures and backgrounds, which is why it is sometimes called a ‘ cultural mosaic’. Being a cultural mosaic means that we allow every culture to keep their identity instead of telling them to conform to a certain way of life. The people…

It is a little-known fact that Canada is the second largest country in the world next only to Russia. You can find just about every nationality in Canada and for the most part, they live together peacefully. To be Canadian means to be able to look around you and only see various different shades of green in the many diverse types of trees. It means your body is pumped with adrenaline when your favourite hockey team comes on to the ice, and it’s that moment when you sing the national anthem proud, with a smile on your face. To be Canadian means to respect others opinions and religions, to accept one another no matter the race, religion, or sexuality of another. Canada has been the most accepting country for a very long time now and our peacekeeping title remains the same. Canada is a beautiful country, and I am, along with many others, blessed to live in such a country.…

    Canadian Culture Essay

One can safely argue that the Canadian government was solely trying to protect its economy and its citizens. An important foundation of the global and political economy of any country is, of course, its people. Politics is fundamentally about how society and its people are organised in and for public life. A people are better understood by their culture and that culture helps to define and be defined by politics. To understand the politics of a society therefore requires understanding its culture, that is, the ways of life of its people - their beliefs, practices and values - and how these impact on politics and the global economy. Canada has long been regarded as a rich and democratic country that’s very well developed. The secret behind this is like the famous quote from history,“United we stand, divided we fall”. Canada has a government requiring all the provinces to contribute and each region has its own advantage and drawbacks. Together, we are able to cover each other’s weaknesses and improve as a Confederation.…

    Essay On Multiculturalism

Democracy gives citizens the right to create decisions that affect them, including the right to vote for a member of each level of the government. Moreover, democracy is prominently based on equality, public will and the public opinion (Gupta). I am proud that Canadians have a democratic system of government since the fundamental political power is settled within the citizens. Furthermore, it is more efficient, stable and firm to have this system of government since the representatives are obligated to serve the people and their needs (Gupta). Last but not least, the healthcare system is another feature that makes me proud of being a Canadian. The majority of citizens love Canada’s healthcare system (Nader). Additionally Canada holds the 30th position for the country with the most outstanding health care ("World Health…"). Canada has 15 different healthcare systems to ensure its people are treated to be healthy and strong (Nader). Also, its systems provide healthcare coverage for Canadian citizens for their entire life. From the minute, an individual is born in Canada he/she is covered for health care (Nader). Canada’s healthcare systems put the people first not the profits. To conclude, I ranked Canada’s health care, democratic system of government and multiculturalism really high because they have become symbols that have defined Canada and as a Canadian, I am proud to have these symbols represent such a strong and native…

Many people came to Canada because they thought it was a country of opportunity to them. If you were to look into Canada’s history, you might say Canada was not a land of opportunity for all groups. Gender, race, religion and education were all very important aspects that shaped Canada’s history. These four categories weren’t respected and treated with care. This is why gender, race, religion and education are still a problem within our country today.…
