Why I Chose To Be An Hmi
I decided to become an HMI professional to make a better life for my husband and our four children. I have a dental assisting degree and went on to be a head surgical assistant for an oral surgeon. I loved the office setting and it was a great feeling waking up every morning knowing that I loved my job. There's also a high need for medical personnel and I believe that there will always be jobs available in the medical field as anHMI professional.

The biggest challenge that I see going forward in this field is being able to learn all the coding and time management. I plan on taking notes, highlighting major points and making flash cards to help me learn all the information that will be presented to me.

My kids will be starting up school

Instead, they usually put providers at risk for a portion of the cost of care; that risk is shared with insurers, somewhat sidestepping a…

My interest in healthcare was sparked by the experiences I had with my uncle. My uncle was a cardiologist back home in India and I used to go to his workplace, almost every single day of my summer vacation as a child. Most of the technical terms used in my…
