Why Americans Should Conserve Energy
Why should Americans conserve energy? Well there are many reasons that Americans should conserve energy. One of them would be that it saves money. Energy is not free so when you waste energy you waste money. You can purchase energy efficient appliances can help not waste energy so that you save money too. Other than saving money conserving energy is better for the environment and the economy. Conserving energy cuts down on pollution that harms our environment. It also helps us decrease our usage of non-renewable energy resources for the future.

Another thing that conserving energy helps is our country’s security. By using less energy we have a smaller need for oil and fossil fuels so we don’t have to trade with foreign countries. Our country
