Many people think that legalizing marijuana is a bad thing because most people try and take advantage of it. There are some very good reasons for legalizing marijuana. Doctors and health administrators should look into legalizing marijuana for the health benefits. There are both pros and cons to legalizing marijuana but there are more pros than there are cons. Marijuana has many health benefits and should be legalized all throughout the country. Next, there are many health benefits that come from medical marijuana. One thing is it helps your pain. Marijuana will help you deal with your pain because it will calm you down and it soothes your mind and your body. There are always bad things that could happen but look at all of the good things that could happen from using medical marijuana.     Marijuana is not as dangerous of a drug as some others that are available on the market for treating diseases. I personally know a friend whose family member was prescribed highly addictive painkillers after a back surgery. He then became addicted to them and was constantly having “accidents” that would end him up in the hospital just to get that feeling he was looking for, he even went as far as to crash his car into a tree resulting in his death.
