For the following examples, decide whether the situation is a result of nature, nurture, or an interaction of the two. Explain your reasoning.

Peter

Peter, a 2-year-old only child, displays a bad temper by running to his room and slamming the door when he is angry.

Nuture

Justify your answer:
The reason I have chosen Nurture because it shows how Peter has temper tantrums and when he slammed the door it showed that he did it in a angry manner.

Amelia

Amelia receives high marks in math. Amelia’s mother is surprised because she never did well in math.

Is this nature, nurture, or an interaction?
Interaction

Justify your answer:
The reason why I chose interaction is because Amelia’s mother had lost a little faith in her daughter’s math course. Amelia proved she could do it if she put her mind into it.

Chauncey

Chauncey almost drowned in the pool when he was 5-years old. Susequently. He is afraid to go swimming years after the experience.

Justify your answer:
With Chauncey almost drowning, he has really bad fears of hisself drowning in the pool again. This situation have him traumatized from this day forward knowing it was a life and death situation.

Moriah

Moriah was born with Down Syndrome (Trisomy-21).

Justify your answer:
Moriah was born with down syndrome which is a birth effect. This is something that happens naturally.

Patrick and Erick

Patrick and Erick are identical twins. They were separated at birth, but then were reunited while in elementary school. Interestingly enough, they are both very talented in soccer.
