Week 8 Assignment: Wireless Signals

For a while in the past, we refer the wireless technology as cellular phones. But now, the term "wireless" refers to more varied devices & technologies, like smartphones, computers, printers, headphones and even speakers that connects together in different ways. Today’s wireless phones for example, may include data packets like 3G & 4G cellular radio signals, Wi-Fi and even Bluetooth technologies, these technologies have advance in a fast pace that investing in equipment like 4G phone and/or 802.11x wireless routers can offer you & your business a variety of speed improvements for your money. Now I shall describe the characteristics of every type of wireless signal types so we can learn to use every signal type.

Wi-Fi is one of the wireless signal types, it uses IEEE 802.11 specifications to make a wireless LAN or local-area network that we can secure, like a home or office network, or even a public network like a coffee shop. Mostly a Wi-Fi network is a way wired connections thru a subscription to the internet leads to a wireless router sending and receiving data from and to customer’s devices, not only they connect to the internet but also to other users directly. The Wi-Fi range is usually wide so most homes or small businesses can communicate together, but for larger homes or even college campuses for example, must implement extenders in strategic places to extend the wireless signal all over the needed place. Wi-Fi standard evolved quickly, with newer versions of it making the signal more efficient & faster than previous versions. Right now most devices use 802.11a/b/g or n, but is also backwards compatible in order to make sure that an older device or laptop computer can also connect to new Wi-Fi routers. But to get the optimal connection speeds, your router & devices must use the latest 802.11 technology, so once you upgrade your computer or get a USB wireless n antenna, consider also getting a

The situation in “Locker Room Talk”, centers on Albert Gable, a partner in a CPA firm. Mr. Gable took on a married couple, Larry and Susan Wilson, as clients for financial planning, and as he worked their case he became their personal friends. Albert knew that their marriage had some problems, and as he was auditing a bank, which he did annual audits for, he discovered some discrepancies in the information that the Wilson’s gave him and the information that the bank had in loan records. Mr. Gable spoke to a loan officer at the bank, who was friends with Mr. Wilson, and was informed that he thought that Mr. Wilson was preparing to leave his wife and take all of their money with him. Albert has a major dilemma here, both of the Wilson’s are financial planning clients, and he performs audits yearly for the bank, and was informed that the information discovered about Mr. Wilson’s plans was to remain confidential by the loan officer. This is a case of conflict of interest, because he cannot perform his duties to all of the stakeholders without neglecting his duties to at least one.…

GNZ is intended to aid the retirement of WINS, and it's worth noting that it is not a replacement for WINS. GNZ is not intended to support the single-label name resolution of records that are dynamically registered in WINS, records which typically are not managed by IT administrators. Support for these dynamically registered records is not scalable, especially for larger customers with multiple domains and/or forests. In GNZ, after the creation and enabling of the GlobalNames zone, the administrators must manually create, add, edit and, if required - delete, name records from that zone. GNZ does not support dynamic updates…

This article gives contrasts between the 802.11ac standard and the 802.11ad standard. While both are still in development, they will both be an upgrade to the existing 802.11n standard. Currently, 802.11ac will utilize the 5GHz frequency, whereas, 802.11ad will use 60GHz. The idea is that the localized but high-bandwidth 60GHz network can be used for specific, highly demanding tasks, keeping the standard 5GHz frequency free for normal use for laptops, tablets, smartphones and other peripheral devices. Just like in any business you are constantly designing marketing ideas that have a lot of pictures. When you try to upload a photo to a word document you are limited to where the picture will play out. You have to down size the photo, make sure you are either to the left of the page, center or right side of the page. When you insert a canvas you can place the photo anywhere you like within the canvas. You may want the picture to be in the middle of a group of works or the upper right corner. This allows you to do that. Businesses can include bitmapped images like a screenshot, create various drawing that can be moved individually, and insert charts. In addition to these uses, the main use of creating a canvas in Word documents is for annotating a picture with a callout.…
