Photography, whether that being out sourced or in house, is an important aspect in advertising for any business. These options contain both pros and cons when discussing the financial and beneficial aspects in regards to the company effectively reaching target audience. The convenience of the in house photography and that of scheduling out sourced professional photographers will prove interesting and vital in detail. Also, the idea of the many uses of this imagery and accessibility can be a factor in the merchandising, advertising and business fortitude. The convenience associated with that of having complete access to the utilization of developing an in house photography staff is far superior to that of any other option. The fact is that the company can offer any schedule constraint to the imagery team and allow that task to be completed within the time sensitive request. Employees are more likely to understand the needs of the company when given the task of providing merchandising imagery. The company also has access to these images because the photographs are the sole property of the company.
Alternatively, out sourced photography also has many beneficial aspects in regards to advertising. This is especially true when discussing the professionalism associated with the character, products, and services provided by a person with their own reputation at stake. A professional photographer will use various contracts, which are designed to ensure quality work in a timely manner. So that the company can rest assured that the services will be of high quality which in turn will benefit the company and reach consumers. The scheduling of photography sessions may cause some problems when accessibility is important, but impossible due to versatility.

Some opportunities in which new photographs would benefit the company in advertising campaigns may include every new crop season throughout the year, special events, grand re-openings, before and after company

The situation in “Locker Room Talk”, centers on Albert Gable, a partner in a CPA firm. Mr. Gable took on a married couple, Larry and Susan Wilson, as clients for financial planning, and as he worked their case he became their personal friends. Albert knew that their marriage had some problems, and as he was auditing a bank, which he did annual audits for, he discovered some discrepancies in the information that the Wilson’s gave him and the information that the bank had in loan records. Mr. Gable spoke to a loan officer at the bank, who was friends with Mr. Wilson, and was informed that he thought that Mr. Wilson was preparing to leave his wife and take all of their money with him. Albert has a major dilemma here, both of the Wilson’s are financial planning clients, and he performs audits yearly for the bank, and was informed that the information discovered about Mr. Wilson’s plans was to remain confidential by the loan officer. This is a case of conflict of interest, because he cannot perform his duties to all of the stakeholders without neglecting his duties to at least one.…

I hope all is well since our last meeting. As we have recently been confronted with financial difficulties within Austen Pharmaceuticals, I have given extensive consideration in devising an effective plan for adequately addressing the directive of decreasing payroll by 15% and am prepared to share my prospective solution. As this transition will directly impact the employees, I have met with them to apprise them of the proposed cuts that have been presented and will ultimately take place. In an effort to maintain morale and make this evolution as seamless as possible for the employees, I have incorporated some of their ideas and suggestions in constructing the plan to decrease the payroll while preserving the workforce. After reviewing the most current performance evaluations for each employee, I have established a ranking system that rates each employee based on their overall performance in addition to any individual contributions that they have made which resulted in more efficiency within our division. By rating the employees based on performance, this provides a reference point to determine the most productive employees versus those who are marginal in the event that lay-offs are inevitable. The first step in fulfilling the objective of the plan is to immediately eliminate overtime and have salaried staff help out where possible to complete the work. Next, is to restructure or reduce the amount of hours that each employee works while allowing them to maintain their benefits. The more productive employees will work during peak hours and the average staff will work during off-peak hours. This will allow for the work to be completed while utilizing our best resources when the workflow is the highest. The final…

Just like in any business you are constantly designing marketing ideas that have a lot of pictures. When you try to upload a photo to a word document you are limited to where the picture will play out. You have to down size the photo, make sure you are either to the left of the page, center or right side of the page. When you insert a canvas you can place the photo anywhere you like within the canvas. You may want the picture to be in the middle of a group of works or the upper right corner. This allows you to do that. Businesses can include bitmapped images like a screenshot, create various drawing that can be moved individually, and insert charts. In addition to these uses, the main use of creating a canvas in Word documents is for annotating a picture with a callout.…

Though there are 8 different training types that have been associated with I/O psychology, not all will have the same efficacy in employee development. Some of the associated training types may have ethical or legal deficiencies that do not make them as effective in employee training as the others. For example, the use of audiovisual instruction may imply that there is legal or confidentiality issues involved with the use of these digital video instruments, according to Sampson (1983). Additionally, if the companies hiring or recruitment process is done online, then it is also possible for breach of confidential and private information to be misused if the necessary digital encryption pathways are not placed by the organization. This could be cause for legal action on the part of the affected recruits and prospective employees. On ethical level, the use of audiovisual or online instruction many thwart the ability of a prospective employee the ability to engage in their job training at full capacity as one would if there were an actual live person teaching the individual. The use of audiovisual instruction may allow for the use of shortcuts by a prospective tester. Additionally, if the trainee or prospective employee is not technologically adept to these tools, they may not succeed at their training and not get the job. A more suitable training that will overcome the deficiencies of the audiovisual and structuring would be the use of conferences. Conferences allow the trainee to become involved in lecture and study at a high level. The use of conferences allows individuals to associate and work with individuals on the same core educational techniques and receive immediate instruction if necessary. Though there are many different types of training methods and tactics, the more important thing to remember is that the according to Spector (2008), certain discrimination laws have been implemented to eliminate workplace…

A big part of Fisher’s job is to plan a strategy for troubled Kodak. Over the years, the company had envisioned that its photographic technology might some day become outmoded and had done some preliminary work on digital images. However, many in the company were concerned that going in the digital direction would destroy Kodak’s core photography business, which relies on selling film and development processes. Indeed, at this point in time, the photographic business accounts for about 90 percent of Kodak’s $14 billion in revenues. Fisher, though, has painted a vision of the company as a global digital imaging leader. With digital imaging technology it will eventually be possible for consumers to take pictures, crop them, print them, and send them electronically. Fisher, who has a PhD in applied mathematics, believes the photographic business will be important for years to come, but unless Kodak assumes leadership in the area of digital images, the company will eventually become technologically obsolete. Despite his view that digital imaging technology will be an important part of Kodak’s future, Fisher believes that Kodak’s photographic business also has significant growth potential. He considers expansion in international markets to be particularly important. For example, he wants the company to do better in the fast-growing economies of Asia, where Kodak trails its archrival Fuji Photo. There are also major markets in Russia, India, and Brazil that offer vast potential, but have barely been tapped by Kodak. Within the United States, Kodak has been quietly growing its share of the wholesale photofinishing market through its Qualex subsidiary, which handles most of the photofinishing for large retailers, such as Wal-Mart and Kmart. This approach will likely be expanded internationally as…
