The World Wars are extremely interesting to study and learn about. There are huge amounts of information that most people don’t know or think that happened in both Wars. They have War ending weapons in World War one, but in World War two they were about taking the world. The Wars had reasons for beginning, they had type of weapons that caused the massacre, they had the invention of the tank, and how they ended. The first World War also known as “The Great War”. The weapon that caused the most deaths in the whole war was the machine gun. The Hiram Maxim who invented the machine gun. Most European countries added them into their inventory. The machine gun was thought and many inventors tried to make one but it wasn’t until 1884 when Hiram made such a weapon. They were heavy, the German machine gun weighed 58.31 pounds and the water jacket to keep the gun cool weighed even more 70.5 pounds. Another invention that made the war a massacre was artillery. Artillery was used a lot throughout the war. Artillery claimed many lives in no man’s land. Artillery were very accurate for their time. Most men died from either machine guns or artillery. Germany didn’t get to have the enemy stop at their border like last time. We came in and gave them a new face lift. Germany again had blokade from Britain and they were surround but either neutral or their enemies. They yet again lost hope in winning the war. They had made some bad choices with this war they got a war on two fronts. Japan just overextended themselves horrible with attacked pearl harbor. They even foreshadowed the defeat. One man stated after pearl harbor they just woke a sleeping giant. They were brave, but the allies keep tanking island after island. They didn’t want the invasion of their home island, but they wouldn’t surrender so America dropped the atomic
