The issue of power outage as well as the issue of inconsistent light in our community has been a major source of complain, especially amidst factories, companies, industries and organisation. Power (light) helps in our day to day activities. Basically it helps to ensure the smooth running of things and to make life easier. It is used to power electrical appliances, in homes, schools and industries. It is a major part of production processes. But with power outage, production will be a lot slower.
Although, with the invention of generators, most manufacturing industries and even most companies can now make do without electricity. This is although a solution to power outage; it is a temporary and very expensive one and is not always reliable.
Therefore, as an aspiring electrical and electronics engineer, my dream business is to own an engineering company named Simply Ingenious Engineering Nigeria Limited (S.I.E.N. Ltd.).
The business is centred on electrical and electronics engineering services which is about the largest and most diverse field of engineering, and is concerned with the development and design, application, and manufacture of systems and devices that use electric power and signals. Among the most important subjects in the field in the late 1980s are electric power and machinery, electronic circuits, control systems, computer design, superconductors, solid-state electronics, medical imaging systems, robotics, lasers, radar, consumer electronics, and fiber optics. The field I intend on undertaking is electric power which is concerned with the design and operation of systems for generating, transmitting, and distributing electric power.
