Ryker’s point of view:
Ryker was a kid just like us. He was an only child so he got his parents attention a lot. His home was decent size. And he had a good amount of friends. He was your average everyday kid. One day his parents told him they were going a business trip to Germany. They had to go somewhere at least once a year for about a week because of their job. Ryker didn't mind when they left because he enjoyed having the house to himself. His parents packed their suitcases and left that night. Eventually, the thought of attempting suicide again faded from his mind and was replaced with dragons and robots. Futuristic, medieval and present day settings. Anything you could possibly imagine. The books he read, they kept him company. A week went by and a new kid arrived. Ryker was his name Jasper thought. Jasper tried talking to Ryker in an attempt to see if, by some chance, they might have something in common. All Ryker did when Jasper talked to him was stare off into space ignoring everything he said. At least he had made an effort to make friends Jasper thought as he wheeled to his side of the room. You could tell it was his side because it was surrounded by books. Time went by and eventually Jasper moved out. He got settled in his own apartment. At first glance, Jasper’s life seemed pretty simple. He got a job at a library which he loved. At closing time he would then go back to his books. But deep inside his life, he might’ve just saved the world, or had slain a demon. He still didn’t have any close friends or family, but just like at the house, he didn’t mind.
