Violet's Feed: Character Analysis
What if everything in your life revolves around brain implants? In the novel, Feed, a girl named Violet experiences a malfunction, which changed her view of society. I can infer that Violet’s encounter with a seizure enabled her to notice how much technology affects her life, how her society differs, and resembles, her memories from when she was six, and comprehend the consequences of having a feed. To begin with, Violet’s life without the feed made her realize how much the brain implant controls her actions. In paragraph 23, Violet says, “Maybe I am like that. Maybe that’s what’s wrong.” This quote proves that Violet is hard on herself. Titus, her boyfriend, tries to console her and says, “It’s the feed thing,” but Violet rejects
