Video Analysis: The Ted Talk
In the Ted Talk, Jeff Iliff describes different ways that our bodies, more specifically our internal organs, secrete waste and how this process differs in the two percent of our bodies that is the brain (2014). Iliff also stresses the importance of learning about healthy sleep patterns by mentioning the fact that we spend nearly one-third of our lives sleeping (2014). Furthermore, the video describes a process that occurs in our brains, in order to secret waste that may be lying between various cells (Iliff, 2014). When we are awake, there is very little cerebrospinal fluid (CFS) flowing through the brain. However, whenever we are sleep, there tends to be an influx of CFS flowing throughout the brain, which is what scientists are calling waste

When building many of the castles in the 1300-1400’s the main purpose was to keep the enemies out and of course for conquest. In the video I watched, the Forbidden Knowledge video, they called out some very key point of why and how these fortresses and castles where erected and defended. Not only where there kings of the lands, but then each of those lands were divided up to noble kin and lords. They were always trying to better there futures with more land, even if that included killing your own cousin to get his piece of land. One great example of an intuitive fortress, Caesar had made a donut shaped fortress at one point around a small town; he shut out and was starving the people in the town and then also keeping out the men that were…

What I'm proud about in my computer science class is the Verizon app challenge that I did with my group. I picked this artifact because it taught me some levels of computing and working in a group to create ideas for an app. What me and the group was good at throughout creating and Ideas for this app was creating a scenario video, while our weakness was coming up with the topic ,and editing videos. If we had an additional time our group would make the video more visual and realistic to our topic in this case our setting ,and costume. What I know about the video was that there would be an award, but what I didn't know is that they're selected by category. I have not done any similar work about the Verizon App Challenge because it was a one…

The Sarah Bartmaan video today had some very shocking mistreatment of African Americans. I don’t understand how Europeans could justify their actions of treating another human being like that. Also to know that people still went to see her pickled remains for almost a century after her death showed that it was more than one person that contributed to this. People thought that African Americans were a different species and weren’t even human. We can also see this in our society today. I grew up outside the Bronx, and my school was mainly comprised of African American and Hispanic people. My cousins that lived just outside the city in the suburbs, went schools were the population was 90% white. It is almost like our races still keep us separate…

One thing that poped out to me was in the halo effect video was when he was talking about how the media only take a story about Christianity or some other religion when something dramatic happens. Sometimes our world leaders and celebrity feel like they have to apologize for what they believe in. In the second video it talks about how there are many different religions and all of them with different congregations because of this what they do effects the rest of the world. The way they are doing that is because the love of thy name is used in there religion. religion has such a big effect without religion being at least 1.3 trillion dollar business would be gone. This proves that the effect of religion is not intangible but measurable. In the halo effect video emphasize on the fact that people need to understand what faith groups actually do which help and valinteering and not fro themselves but for society. Many people think that if these faith groups or congregation stopped doing charity or valenturing the government…

After reviewing my patient history video, some things that I would change would be asking her how often does he finger lock. This is an appropriate question, but I asked her this question twice. What I meant to say was, when the locking occurs, how long does your finger stay locked in that position? This explains to me that forgetting the questions you asked previously is common, especially when you are not used to interviewing someone. When I am asking the client questions, I need to pay close attention, so I am listening to their responses and not just writing them down.…

Although she accepted kids learn a lot of things from adults, she asserted that kids have a lot of things to share with adults. She proved that her presentation is realistic by real examples and pictures. According to several criteria, I liked this presentation. Although little girl has some deficiency, I admired her and her courage. There are three main criteria which are used when we evaluated presentations.…
