USHS reigns DSPC; 28 delegates to advance in RSPC 2014

USHS delegates bested all the schools in the division as they became the overall champion in this year's Division Schools Press Conference held at Munoz National High School Main, Oct. 3.

Twenty-eight writers qualified to join the RSPC to be held at Pampanga, Oct. 30.

The champions were Laisa Marian L. De Guzman (Feature Writing), Dew Xya L. Dela Rosa (Sports Writing), Marie Louise Elizabeth C. Estabillo (Pagsulat ng Balitang Isports), and Alyssa G. Fetalcorin (Pagwawasto at Pag-uulo ng Balita).

Alodia Anne T. Badua (News Writing), Jomari C. Fernando (Editorial Writing), Dana Samantha S. Cahilig (Science and Health Writing), Stacey Mae F. Manuel (Copy reading and Headline Writing), Jill Czyrille M. Salas (Editorial Cartooning), Gracielle Ruth B.Buenaventura (Pagkuha ng Larawang Pampahayagan) and Ciara Cel O. Andal (Pagsulat ng Lathalain) landed in second place.

Three other delegates, Dan Angelo S. Eligado (Photojournalism), Franco Andrei Pineda (Pagsulat ng Pahinang Pang-Agham at Kalusugan), and Brena Lynne F. Victoria (Pagsulat ng Pangulong Tudling) place third in their respective categories.

Meanwhile, the Scriptwriting and Radio Broadcasting Team English and Collaborative and Desktop Publishing Team landed first.

Scriptwriting and Radio Broadcasting Team Filipino came in second place.
