Life is an experience that comes along with failure. Have you ever had the feeling like you haven’t done your best at something or the feeling that you’re disappointing the people you care about most? Well I’ve had that feeling multiple times especially in middle school. In middle school I’ve experience lots of failure; failure with friendships, relationships, and rejection. Failure to me is being unhappy with yourself and not doing what you believe in. My 8th grade year in middle school was a learning experience that came along with lots of failure. The beginning of 8th grade was the easiest part of middle school because there was no drama and less friends. As time went by I gained more friends and more pressure was put on my shoulders. I learned a lot about friendships and the meaning of them. Losing the friends that meant the most to me is one of my failures and something that was challenging. Friendships from the past have a huge impact on the friendships that I’ve made today. In middle school I was always open to meeting new people and starting new friend friendships with anyone but now I realize that I can’t do that without getting to know the person first. During my years in high school I’ve been more selective with how I choose my friends. I’ve learned that in order to trust someone in full and to consider them a good friend, I would have to get to know that person first. Throughout my high school experience I’ve gained many friends and learned to trust them. Whenever I had a problem, I would turn to them for advice. Their advice always helped me through my problems and anything else I needed.
Throughout my experience in high school and middle school, I’ve learned a lot about friendship and values. I’ve been making better decisions for myself and how I have been choosing my friends. How I chose my friends will help me in college because I’ve had experience with good friends and bad friends. My experience

I learned from the book Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson that friendship is tender and brutal event. When Melinda loses all her friends at a party just before she starts high school due to a grave of misunderstanding, she’s forced to reevaluate the nature of friendship. This story teaches me that friendship can change overtime and people can change too. This proves that you should trust no one because one day people can hurt you and let you down without knowing the true part of the story. In the book, everyone hates Melinda when she didn’t mean any harm, she just made the right choice.…

It takes something very immense to show who your real friends are. It could range from a moment of drama where a friend stays by your side, to sitting bed side by your friend in critical conditions. I learned how to be the person who shows their true side in these situations. By doing so, I have been brought closer to many people who will now return the favor when my time of need comes. Always remember to ask the question, “Who will be there for me?” when you pick friends to bring into your circle.…

As much as humans like to control their own lives, there are many aspects that are outside of our control. For example, we do not choose the families into which we are born or the places where we grow up. The same is sometimes true of friendships. Some friends we choose because we identify them as people who are similar to us and because they offer us something we want. Occasionally, however, we make unexpected friends. For example, a young person bumps into someone at the library who is crying because she has lost an important paper she was writing for school. As a result, the two become friends and learn that helping people through tough times is at the core of strong relationships.…

This project relates to close relationship it looks at how long-term friendship developed and how it feels to have long-term friendship. Close relationship considers how others expectations can take the control of the relationship therefore the social network could affect the decision of individuals (Sclater,2012). Four articles will be used in this study to see if the finding is relevant. ‘What are friends for? Student’s expectations of the friendship encounter’. In my case, I see it as giving everything your all at what you do. In my household family I am considered to be bright and known to always receive excellent grades, but in school everything changes. I am not as intelligent as everyone else, but what I do have is that I do not give up. My peers seem to get devastated from failing grades and not having the highest average as they hoped for. I, myself see failure as a motivation to never give up. Even when I feel like I have given my all into a goal I continue to move forward to get even further. I like to reach for the sky even if it seems…

My friends were and still are a huge part of my life, because they influence and reflect the type of person that I am. My group of friends were pretty normal, we just liked having fun, and trying new things. Most of my friends were older, and with me not having a father figure, I looked up to a few of my friends. They taught me what my mother couldn't and what my father failed to. Some of my friends didn't have a father figure either, they learned on their own or was taught by…

When Thomas Edison was working on the invention of the light bulb he said, “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” Even though Thomas Edison did not call his mistakes failures, he learned from them, and continued to try other combinations until he finally succeeded. People fail, just like Thomas Edison, but they can make the choice to learn from their mistakes. William Zinsser, the author of “College Pressures” discusses the importance and value failure can have in people’s lives by relating it to the experiences students face while in college. The significance of failure is very critical in people’s lives because it can help them to learn from their mistakes, and it gives them motivation.…

Going into highschool failure really was never an option, when I did things I tried my best.…

When I was in Middle school, I had a lot of friends in my school and near by my area too, as I was very successful in making a bad friends rather than good friends. In other words I learned those activities, which parents want to keep away from their kids. I learned to smoke, started drinking alcohol, harassing girls and started all those activities that were illegal at that time of my age. I did not study for my school and was failing in my subjects. However, I got rid of those bad friends as soon as I could, otherwise I do not think that I can be a good educated person in the society with the company of those friends. Actually after entering in to a new community, I made very good contacts with very bad people. Therefore, this event of making friends proved to be unsuccessful or bad for me.…
