Uc Cheer Camp Reflection
During the times of leadership, I am completely unaware that I am being a leader; only that I try to help the best way I can, to make situations easier for others. For example, giving input on how to create a better workflow or trying to get my daughter’s cheer team the items they need. In turn, my leadership with the help of others would result in 15 girls attending UC Berkley Cheer Camp. With money being the main challenge, I began brainstorming different ideas to solve the problem. Knowing I could not raise the money alone, I called a parent meeting encouraging others to participate. By having this meeting, I soon realized how much of a leader I was. Consequently, we raised a total of $5000.00, exceeding the amount required for cheer camp. As a result the girls not only learned that hard work will pay off in addition, it also brought them closer as a team.

As for myself, it gave encouragement I needed to apply for a leadership position at work; where I use the developed skills to help come up with ideas for different unit procedures creating better patient care as well as unit cost
