USA: A Personal Narrative Analysis
As a college student at Bishop State Community College, I have a long story before getting to U S A. I migrated here from Tanzania with my parents six years ago hoping for better life opportunities. I am related to Eveline when “She had consented to go away, to leave her home” (Joyce). During my time in the native country, I was fortunate to attend primary school at the expense of my parent’s low income. When we arrived in Mobile; I attended Denton middle school, hoping if one day I would be able to make my dream come true. Moreover, I finished middle school and I was able to move into high school in mobile where I had a chance to choose which college I would like to attend.

    Daleville High School Junior Madison Peavler traveled to Jamaica to represent Team USA at the Martial Arts World Cup that was held on February 25th, 2017. Hundreds of competitors were in attendance and virtually every Martial Arts was represented. Madison was the only female to represent Team USA in the grappling/jiu jitsu event.     Samuel, I really enjoyed your post as I like hearing about other people’s family history since mine is so diverse. With your skin tone, eyes, and hair I can see why someone may say you look Hispanic. At least you take it in stride. Today, too many people get offended when someone calls them the wrong race or ethnic origin. It is really good that you continue your family’s tradition of cooking Greek and Italian dishes and I hope your children continue that.
