The cool thing was that there were different numbers for each wave so one would be easy and two would be medium three would be hard and four was called the big mamas. When Taco.SS ways sailing down the river and it was calm for a few seconds until BAM! Big mama, one of my brothers friends that was on the same raft as I fell off when we hit a huge wave, and another one of my friends lost their paddle in the water so she just sat at the front waiting for a ginormous slash to hit her. When we got back to the camp Site I the teachers there started an occasion or similar to what we did, anyways if they said blue tooth brush and a team/cabin had it they got points. At the end of the game the boy cabin ended up winning, but the girls' cabin was super close, we still got candy which is better than…
Corn hole was the second thing I tried at Fall Fest. This game is not the most thrilling thing in the world. There were several people that were waiting to play because it was pretty much the only thing to do. I am not very good at it, which is weird because the only thing you have to do is toss a bean bag onto a wooden box that has a hole in it. I have never understood the corn hole rules so that didn’t help. The way to get points is by making it in the hole or if the bag stays on the board, but I don’t know how the scoring works. My bags always missed or bounced off the board anyways. I was going to play volleyball after corn hole, but there was no one else playing it so I just watched a bunch of other people play corn hole. Countless other…
One day it was raining cats and dogs and my parents said go play outside so we got ready to play and he said let's run down the hill and I said sure so we were running down the hill and tripped and rolled down the hill and we hit the bottom and tried climbing up and we got up with teamwork and sticks but we got up and took showers and still thought it was fun.…
2. Using the descriptions of the egg white that you wrote in the Student Guide, rank the test tubes in order of greatest amount of digestion to least amount of digestion. For each tube, explain why it would have exhibited that that level of digestion.…
My best Pecan Fest experience was last year. I rode the Zipper with Austen and Hayden for most of the time. My friends and I played all weekend and had fun. We bought lots of confetti eggs. They were very useful when we used them on other people. We also bought silly string and sprayed lots of people. We went on the Zipper at least 10 times. I went on the MI twice. I went on the Pharos Fury a couple times. I ran around the yard with my friends and we rode on lots of rides. I helped my mom with her booth and I got a lot of people to play the game. I also watched my little brother perform on stage. After that I ate some food and then went one the Zipper. I felt so sick after. I got some water and I went home. The next day we went back to the…
State (mainstream schools) – Most state schools have to follow the national curriculum. All children in England and Wales between the ages of five and sixteen are entitled to a free position at a state school. In England and Wales, 90% of children are educated in a state school; they are all funded by local authorities, follow the national curriculum and are regularly inspected by the Office for Standards in Education Children’s Services and Skills (OFSTED). Schools across England are funded and managed in different ways and will vary depending on the age of the children.…
ran from one side of the stage to the other, sometimes in pattern. I saw a lot of geometric shapes as we…
When working with children especially children who you support in class you will be given the opportunity to input your own ideas into the teachers planning, as you have your own areas of expertise or if you are a one-to-one you will have your own knowledge of the child you work with. When you work with children with special needs they will need more structure in the activities that they do every day and you will be aware of their strengths and weaknesses.…
The drums roar and the game begins. The bases looked as if they were mountains that treacherously needed to be climbed. I was the third baseman for our team, and I caught the ball once. It wasn’t an out because the ball hit the ground. I was a beast on the softball field.…
Then it came to the first meet. It was great I dropped so much time. Then when I got out of the water I felt like I was on top of the moon. The only bad part of the meet was the my friend was still…
There it was, competition day. We are downstairs in the lobby area eating some cereal and some waffles with some warm coffee to brighten and wake up our sleepy selves. All we needed was our pep talk and we sure got it. There were our instructors giving us motivation…
It was time to kick it in and pass some people. I locked in on the people I wanted to pass and went for it. 1...2...3...4 people I passed and finished to place as 31st.…
loved getting the hands on experience. Another one of my favorite things I enjoyed in…
It was a Sunday morning in Russell Manitoba, where we decided to go to Asessippi. My brothers were so excited, as was I. Snowboarding and skiing are something that we have never done before. I was nervous because I had no idea how to downhill ski, and I wasn’t taking any lessons. My mom thought she could teach me. My brothers were snowboarding as I have a cousin that teaches at Asessippi.…
I fell off my first tube. I’m very proud of myself. I realized that doing something that you haven’t done before, isn't just taking a big step, it’s about opening a new, fun, journey that you haven't entered yet. We laughed and laughed some more and enjoyed the rest of our amazing, fun, tubing day. I really do hope we do this more often and enjoy the sun as we tube across the dark blue wavy, shiny…
