Pg.25 Controller is introduced The Controller is Mustapha Mond. He is the resident controller for Western Europe. The Controller is man of middle height, black hair, a hooked nose, red lips, and eyes that are dark and piercing. The Controller talks to the students about the past, and seems to be the only knowledgeable person on the history of human kind. He talks of the bible, mothers, home, and the moral values of humans back then. The students find this very intriguing, which tells the reader that in this society the moral values and social norm are no longer relevant.
Pg. 44 Change in setting and Introduction of Helmholtz Watson The plethora of Bureaux of Propagandas and the College of Emotional Engineering were housed in a single 60 story building, which is located on Fleet Street. The three London newspapers: The Hourly Radio, The Delta Minor, and the Gamma Gazette have presses and offices located in the basement on the low floors. There are approximately 22 floors of the Bureaux of Propaganda by Felling Picture, and by Synthetic Voice and Music in the building. Above that are search laboratories and padded rooms where Sound Track Writers and Synthetic Composers work. The top floors are occupied by the College of Emotional Engineering. There are 18 top floors in which the College of Emotional Engineering inhabit. Mr. Helmholtz Watson is an Alpha Plus. He is a strong, deep chested, agile man with a lot of power. Mr. Watson is a handsome lecturer at the College of Emotional Engineering and the intervals of his education activities, a working Emotional Engineer. Also, he is a writer for The Hourly Radio. Mr. Watson is a friend of Bernard who also realizes that he is an individual. Helmholtz is a great lover, an admirable committee man, and an awesome mixer in the eyes of others.
Pg. 64 Director’s trip to New Mexico reservation Twenty to twenty five years ago the Director got a permit for New Mexico and went there for his summer holiday because he wanted to see the savages. He took a Beta Minus girl with him, but never returned with her. Surprisingly, he had lost her or she had wondered of and never returned to the rest-house.
Pg. 73 Get to the New Mexico reservation The New Mexico Reservation is full of the savages. Here, the tall houses are raised high into the sky while the low buildings lay at their feet. The people on this reserve have ill and aged residence. They perform rituals that Linda and Bernard find repulsive. The New Mexico reserve is a place for the savages and is very much uncivilized.
