"It is most useful and travel," said Michel de Montaigne, he had not quite the same thoughts when I go into the aircraft or put me into the camper to parents, but the message is undoubtedly the same. I have learned a lot of my grandparents. My grandfather taught me to always appreciate the journey to the destination, perhaps in itself is the same value as the time you spend at your destination. One of the chief of traveling is that everyone perceives it differently. To find out what you think is lovely when traveling is helping to define and shape …show more content…

I have such a friend, he can lay out for hours with information about a building and its past, or connect the camera up to your TV and show off the pictures he has shot from the voyage. I have participated in countless tours with this gentleman, it is always eventful. It is very early in the morning to get the most out of the daylight, often running through many countries as possible villages and examine the most local provisions. According to Aesop " Adventure is worthwhile", and traveling is one of the best adventures that people can experience in life. Also, by going to places that you've never been open up your mind to new things, new people, and you learn from it as much as you can. In my case, I'm fortunate to have been able to visit different cities all over the world, but only two of them have completely captivated me, San Francisco, California and Miami, Florida. Even though these two cities are located in the same country, both have many differences such as in the public transportation, food-population, and lifestyle.…

"Traveling is a fool's paradise," Ralph Waldo Emerson said. "I have no cranky objection to world travel for the purposes of art, of study, and goodwill, as long as the individual is first domesticated, or doesn't go abroad with the hope of finding something greater that what he knows. He who travels to be amused, or to get something he doesn't have within, travels away from himself…" While Emerson's comments may seem extreme to those who enjoy the occasional trip for leisure, he makes an important point regarding the value of travel from both a scholarly and personal standpoint. Studying abroad fulfills what Emerson sees as the deeper purpose of travel, which I realized last fall semester when I studied abroad at the University of…

    - Travelling unravels the beauties and beasts of an unfamiliar world. It’s a kaleidoscopic adventure with a spectrum of colours. Whether you are letting your palate choose your destination or your unquenchable thirst for adrenaline, it is always an experience that awakens our inner child by offering us new, “first-time” experiences. Ask anyone, and they’ll tell you that the best time they ever had in their life was the trip they took right after graduating from college (if they were lucky enough). I can’t stress enough how important I feel it is for more young people, who have sufficient funds of course, to travel and see the world around them. Start thinking outside the norm a little bit, get out of your comfort zones and start exploring!…

Embracing the culture and questioning why things are done a certain way and exploring the incredible world that I am surrounded by. It brings me peace just being somewhere I have never been. I think it is important to be put in situations that you might not be familiar with and learn how to adapt, how to survive on your own. It’s important to go to unfamiliar places and meet unfamiliar people.…

One of the main purposes of travel is to gain experiences that allow us to grow and develop as individuals and it is important that people travel the way that bests suits them at a particular time. For example, I like to go on adventure holidays and this invariably includes a small group and expert guide, and I frequently participate in writing retreats around the world with like-minded people. However for me, the real joy of travelling has always been to take off on my own and just 'see' what comes along the way. Of course this can sometimes be fraught with frustrations, difficulties and even dangers.…

Also you are more likely to experience the friendliness of the locals because language barriers are broken. This may lead to prejudice ideas being destroyed. A new language gives a different outlook on life.…
