The client is a female who is sixteen years old, a black American. The client is a victim of various psychological traumas where she faced constant child abuse, rape, domestic violence, incest, physical and mental abuse by her father and mother. With multiple traumas the client would be appropriate for Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) intervention. Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an evidence-based treatment model designed to assist children and adolescents in overcoming the negative effects of traumatic experience (Ramirez de Arellano, Ph.D. et al., 2014).
