Should Dogs That Bite Be Executed Humans get a second chance when they do something wrong should dogs get a second chance? If a dog bites someone when protecting their pups or protecting some territory should they get executed? You can legally shoot someone if they enter our homes. Dogs do not have weapons so they bite. Dogs should not be executed are they not called man's best friend.

Golab “Unfortunately, a few dogs do not live up to their image as mankind’s best friend, and an estimated 4.5 million people are bitten each year, although the actual number is unknown .” (paragraph 2). Thus saying that humans getting bit by a dog is quite common. As a result of these statistics, people believe dogs should be executed.
