To Kill a Mocking Bird Mad Dog

Yesterday afternoon, on main street, Ms. Jean Finch, Mr. Jem Finch and Mr. Dill were chased by a rapid dog named Tim Johnson. When asked what they were doing, they stated “we were looking for things to shoot with our air rifles. As we were walking down the street we saw Tim Johnson looking crazy mad.”
That day, Jem and Scout saw Tim Johnson, a dog who belongs to Mr. Harry Johnson. The dog’s acting kind of strange, so they run home to tell Calpurnia, the house keeper. “At first, I told the kids to deal with it them selves, but when I saw the dog myself I was shocked.”She said. After she saw the rapid dog she dashed for the phone to tell Atticus that there’s a mad dog on the loose. Then she talked to Miss Eula May, the town telephone operator, to tell her to let everyone else on the street know that they should stay out of the way of the rabid animal.
The Radley’s down the road don’t have a phone, so Calpurnia run over to their place, bangs on their front door, and when no one answers, shouts, “Mad dog’s comin’!”As Calpurnia sprints back to the Finch house, Atticus and Mr. Heck Tate, the sheriff in Maycomb, arrived. Thankfully, Mr. Atticus Finch got there on time and shot the mad dog before it causes any danger problems and issues.
Atticus said: “I have not shot a gun in thirty years!” Surprisingly, he was called the ‘one shot Finch’ at his young age.
