I believe the writing process is very complex but simple. The steps to the research process simple to follow, but complex at executing. I believe, that you have to find credible sources to retain information about your topic. Someone cannot simply just Google everything, and believe that all of the information is credible. The researcher has to check out books, and other resources to get the best information about their topic. After gathering information, the researcher has to present it in a way that their audience could understand. I am pretty confident in my ability to execute the research process. We are taught from a very young age, how to do research and write papers. As we obtain a greater age, we learn to go more in depth about topics and find the important information. The thing that I struggle most with is siting credible sources. Usually, the internet is the easy way out to doing full research. But, I need to learn to use other resources such as maps, books, almanacs, and encyclopedias. The library system is very beneficial to everyone, because if we did not have the library system, we would not know what books we had in our library, and what we did not have. Also, there would be no type of organization such as, sorting books by, genre, author, title, etc. Also, if we did not have the library system, research would be harder to conduct because you would have to go through all the books in the library. The library system will help you identify the book you need for your topic.

    A. My cartoons message is that the United States Congress forced Northerners to capture and return escaped slaves to their masters. The controversial law allowed people to seize alleged fugitive slaves without due process of law and prohibited anyone from aiding escaped fugitives or impeding their recovery. It was often presumed that a black person was a slave; the law threatened the safety of all blacks - slave and free. My cartoon also conveyed a message that the law does not express the sentiments of our “American democracy.”…

To start my search, I needed to find a good amount of information in various sources: magazine articles, newspaper articles, internet sites, an interview, and books. Locating internet articles were the easiest tasks. Deciding which ones were worthwhile took some time, however. I read through dozens before narrowing it down to the ones I am actually using for my research. It was locating books that turned out to be the most difficult search for sources.…

I believe that in order for me as a researcher to build confidence in my abilities, it is important to always understand how to find information on the various research that has already been done, and to study the different methods that have been used in prior experiments. The step that is easiest to me to complete is prewriting and drafting. I say them both because when it comes to prewriting it is like theres no limit to what you have to write. When it comes to writing down ideas and putting them all on one sheet of paper. You really do not need a scientist to know what to write, as long as you know what topic you are writing about and who you are writing to. I say drafting also because after you have written down numerous ideas from prewriting, you…

The best approach I usually do research is, first of all understanding the purpose of writing. When I decide what I want to write about, for whom, and what my audience should gain after reading my paper, I can begin the research. I ask myself if I know anything about the subject and where I can find more information about this matter. Next, I have to determinate what sources can be useful and how creditable they are. I try to think “out of the box” in order to find other ways or perspectives of looking at the topic. I may even make some personal interviews to get the feeling, what other people may think about it. This approach usually leads me to finding out additional sources of information. Researching for me is basically reading, listening, gathering information, taking notes and then evaluating them. It is a very important step in the process of…

My first step to research was to search various search engines to find scholarly journals or other types of secondary sources that were credible and available online. Then I went to my local library and did some additional research in encyclopedias and books. I was also able to obtain a few books from someone in my Human Resources department at my work. The reason I chose these sources was that they were credible and easy to locate.…

My writing process usually begins the day I find out I have a writing assignment. Depending on the type of paper and topic, I read through the material and let my mind brainstorm on it for a day or so. For example, I had a psychology research paper due last semester with a multitude of topics to choose from. The first thing I did was read through the topics and make sure I fully understood what each one meant. After a day to mull over my options, I made my choice and began creating my writing plan.…

The thought of writing my paper is daunting; I never fully understand the task at hand. Everyone seems to understand writing better than me, and they seem to have the time to write. For me it is a tedious, pain staking process that last for endless hours and seems to never be as exquisite as I once imagined it to be. The writing process seems to be a straight forward list for everyone to follow but it is really just an idea of what it could be in a perfect, simple world. There are no two exact people; therefore, there are no two exact same writing processes. This process can come natural to some, but for most of us it is a pain staking process that takes several years to even come close to perfection. The writing process is an irritating way to write and because of this it is hard for me to find an exact, never changing writing process.…
