The horrors of slavery is one that should not be made light of. The dehumanization of blacks during this time, forced our ancestors to endure the most devastating genocide in human history. This concept can also often be applied to artworks, adverts and other imagery that we see in our everyday lives, from adverts talking about obscure things such as cat food, to lingerie and make-up adverts actually aimed at women themselves.…

(O.T. 159) The symbol of 3 even pertains to modern day fairytales/ folktales such as The Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and The Three Musketeers which can all connect with the reference to “power of three”. Though, to me, the number three represents an extreme sign of supernatural occurrences. Such situations when power of three appears, I believe it is too strong of a mere “coincidence” rather than a sign of fate or danger, part of the reason why I connect three to…

The photograph is colorful, but with limited types of color because the white color of the quilt occupies most space of the frame. In the form of the image, there are a myriad of dots in the bed heads, and the shape of flowers on the wall is irregular. For the depth, the image also provides the stark contrast between subjects and the background since the light intensity of four adults is stronger than that of the flowery wall. Besides, because the man exposes his nipples without covering with the…
