Things I Learned In High School Essay
Things that I have learned so far about high school is that the more you will realize who your friends are they will really start showing you their “true colors”. Furthermore balancing the workload is a very hard task because you have extra curriculum and other responsibilities dealing with your household. Being in high school you aren't going to get pampered or a teacher constantly coming to you, tell you that you have work due , missing assignments , being in class on time and keeping up with your grades . Also , I have learned that you shouldn't wait unit the last minute to turn work in or ask for extra credit , most certainty you shouldn't wait until the day before the due date to turn in your assignments . I have also learned that education is the key to life because what you do now will affect how you live your life down the road. If you apply yourself , put your mind to it and do what is right and be respectful it will take you a long way in life. Having a free education is a blessing and you shouldn't take advantage of it, meaning you shouldn’t slack off because you are not necessarily losing money at the moment . Some people don't have the opportunity to have a free education and plan their life out completely sometimes "when life give you lemons make lemonade". When life isn't looking so great don't give up just make the best out of what you have. Being in Roanoke Valley Early College has made me apply myself more and really open my eyes more to see bigger and better things and don't settle for less just because things may be hard or seems as if everyone else aren’t handling their business. Th has also learned me in my life to recognize the things that are really a priority in my life and don't focus on things that are aren't
