THE PROBLEM
The Effects of DOTA Addiction to the Grade-8 students of Cotabato City State Polytechnic College – Laboratory High School, School Year 2014-2015
Introduction:
Since the creation of modern technology, games have already been included for the purpose of recreation, but others take it too seriously. From its creation in 2003, Defense of the Ancients or DOTA, had already been a popular LAN game both children and adults alike. Seeing this game as extremely addictive, actions should be taken as soon as possible before the addiction worsens.

Null Hypothesis:
If not prevented, DOTA addiction can be dangerous not only to the health of the user, but it also decreases the academic performances of students. If action is taken, the performance of the student
