Theories Of Serial Killers
The mind is very complex………..., when it comes to serial killers and the psychopathic mind, scientists and psychologists are always asking “Why?” One day I hope to be one of the psychologists asking why, and hope to contribute to finding the answers.The biggest challenge about serial killers is understanding their motivation. The motives of serial killers are hidden due to their abnormal behaviors. According to World of Forensic Science, their motives are far less obvious than those of a person who commits a single homicide.
A serial killer is not what the movies make them out to be. Serial killers don’t necessarily wear masks, break into your home and kill your family, or hide out at camp waiting for revenge like Jason. There are many different types of killers, Mass murderers are the ones who attack several victims at once while out for revenge. They tend to have outbursts of targeted anger. A majority of serial killers were victims themselves at one point, being subjected to serious conditions of childhood abuse that varies from emotional, physical or sexual abuse. The question of “How could a person grow up to be like this?” turns into “How could a person NOT grow up to be like this?” said in Violence in America.
