I enjoy listening to this song anyways as it is in my native language and one of my top childhood songs. The song is about a couple who is in love with each other but when the guy has to leave for the US, they broke up. He later returns and the love is still there. This is a very cute story and I love singing the lyrics that describes his feelings for her as he was away. If I broke up and get back together with my boyfriend, I would want this to be our scenario, that we broke up and got back together because of distance or circumstances, not because we wanted this. I also love how there are english lyrics sung with deep emotion in the song: “I will be back for you.” The music video for the song is also very heartwarming and brings a smile to my face whenever I think of it. If I got back together with my ex, I could listen to this song to remind me of my feelings for him. This song is a great song that evokes strong emotions from me and makes me think about love and how strong it is to overcome lots.…

All though my parents never got a divorce I feel a connection with different pieces of the song and I thoroughly enjoyed the way he expressed his emotions throughout the song in words I would have never thought of using. The song is very vocal with a quite instrumental background that ties it all together, he uses so much emotion and power in his singing that it’s hard not to feel the same emotions he is feeling in this song. He talks about his parents fighting and him trying to keep them together which I feel like most children have tried to do when their parents are fighting.…

In “Tell me more” by Brenda Ueland, she explains how important listening can be to a person in their life. When you listen to somebody you show the person respect and interest in what they have to say. Brenda Ueland believes, “When we are listened to, it creates us, makes us unfold and expand.” When someone knows they are going to be listened to or when someone is going to read what they have written the speaker is more likely to let loose and share their true feelings. Ueland says, “…When someone has listened to you, you go home rested and lighthearted.” Being listened to can help you feel better about yourself because it can make you feel important. When you listen to somebody you learn more about the person and become closer to them. Listening can help you understand a person. When a speaker or writer has something to say that can be important or controversial it is important for them to be heard, even if the listeners are just simply themselves. Brenda Ueland believes, “Listen to…those who love you and those who don’t, to those who bore you, to your enemies. It will work a small miracle. And perhaps a great one.” In order to learn you must listen and in order to be learned from you must…

. This song is about someone having to live up to the expectations someone else wants for them. They are pressured into having to be exactly like that person. They are nonstop always being smothered, and absolutely hate the fact that they cannot be who they want to be. They eventually get tired of listening to him/her and start living to their own expectations.…

What if I'm missing out? What if there's a greater purpose I could be living right now?” This being the most repetitive theme in the song struck a chord with me, especially emotionally. With these three questions, I was really forced to ask myself what I was doing to help people in the world. Although I contribute to school drives and community fundraisers, do I try to do more? Do I find other ways to help those in unfortunate situations? Or do I just think that what I do is enough? In one of the first verses of the song, the lyrics even state, “I throw a twenty in the plate but I never give 'til it hurts.” There is so much more I could be doing at the moment to help people in the world. Instead, I just leave everything to others. This isn’t what God intended. He wants us to give all that we can to help those in need. Through this song, I can see that I can’t just sit in my “perfect world” and believe that everything is right with the world. I need to take action and do my best to make the world I have a happy one, another reason why this song is important to…

This song goes with the time I won the DAR writing contest and beat everyone it the state of New Jersey. I felt so happy and this song was a song I listened to when I heard the news. The song says “One step away from greatness, success is what you're making.” and I think that these lyrics explain this event very well. When I was very close to finishing the essay for the contest I started to get second thoughts and didn’t know if I still wanted to enter, but then I pushed myself to continue and I think that the words “One step away from greatness, success is what you’re making”This song is very important to me because it reminds me of this time and it makes me feel happy when i hear…

Not only did I have a narrow perspective at the beginning, but I also lacked confidence in opening up my feelings. However, I learned to appreciate my own traditional upbringing, culture, past experiences, values, and perspectives and realised that these were the elements that made my song meaningful, and different than any other music. I learned that It was okay to make mistakes, and a satisfactory outcome took time and patience to reach the result.…

I also really love this song because of the lyrics and what the mean to me. I am one of those people who don’t care what anyone thinks about them. I am so confident in who I am and truly never let anyone bring me down. I know I’m better than people so it doesn’t matter to me. As I sit and listen to the lyrics, it really makes me think. Like i know that I judge, and I know I shouldn’t, but I do. And after listening to this song, it always opens my eyes. I don’t know what people are going through, and until I do, I shouldn’t judge in any way. This song is a different perspective of Eminem's life. He has always rapped about his difficult situation but people always listened to it from an outside perspective. This song is asking the listener to imagine being him for a minute before judging him.…
