The Role Of Isolation In Society
The word isolation means the experience of feeling socially, physically and emotionally separated from others, such as family, acquaintances and the society we live in. There are different types of isolation, for instance, social (in society); geographical, emotional, solitude, solitary confinement, strict isolation (hospital) and isolationism.

Spending time alone can help you reconnect with your needs, goals, beliefs, feelings and values, however too much solitude can lead to feelings such as fear of abandonment, depression, social anxiety and loneliness. An example of isolation can be if you lived on an island by yourself or moved to the counrty (remotness) it can give the impression of being removed from a community and the society we live in. …show more content…
