The Odyssey Research Paper
“The Odyssey” written by Homer is a mythology written about a hero named Odysseus. Some people may say Odysseus is not a hero. Odysseus is a hero because he fought and saved the greeks in The Trojan War. He also is a hero to some people by staying faithful to his Gods in a very difficult time.
Odysseus goes and fights in the Trojan war. He he was successful. This meaning he saved and protected the Greeks. Without Odysseus’s they would have lost the Trojan war. This shows that he is a hero.
Odysseus stays faithful to his Gods on the way home when he is captured by a Cyclops. In order to escape the Cyclops, Poseidon’s son, he makes Poseidon angry. As a punishment, Poseidon makes it take ten years for Odysseus to return home. “The Odyssey
