In this rural area where there are more blue collar residents rather that the white collar and you have more individuals that work at a middle class level the economy is felt most definitely. The reduction on the size of homes and vehicles to the amount of times a family eats out during the week along with the distance they are going away from home on vacations. The largest decision making factor in this area for buying a home is the school system that you will reside within the district of for your children. I know that this is a concern everywhere in the country, the difference here is the taxes in the different areas making the potential homeowner look into what property taxes and homestead exempt guidelines are for the area.
The other main goal in this area is that most who are in the market for a new home in this area want to find something that has more land than just a lot in town. Most are looking for something where they can allow their children to play and have enough yard that they can also allow their imaginations to work. The goal in this area is to achieve a home that is in a country setting where things are moving slower and a bit more simple that the hustle of being in town and having space so that you do not look over the fence and there is your neighbor where you can reach them. The job market is also a bit weaker than others and have to factor in commuting to work in other job markets. In this area it is all about getting in a semi-secluded area where the neighbors are not so close that they can hear every family argument that happens. Finding places that allow the homeowners to have a feeling of freedom from the constraints of being in the city is a big factor in buying a home in this area. Also most people purchasing homes in this area want the acreage to be able to have the freedom if they choose to raise their own animals along with the room to plant a garden if wanted.
