the ending of the locket was a happy one, I cannot say I was surprised, and that I also believed the young soldier had been kill in battle. I did not foresee that the locket might have been stolen nor did I believe it had been lost along the way. I would have to with Edmonds belief that it had been stolen the first detail that led me to believe Edmond might be alive was judge Pilliers mention of miracles. That when I said to my self this is going to be a happy ending
