The Importance Of Service Dogs
Unbeknownst to much of mankind
A canine is the only being that truly selfless
They are trained to assist the blind
And they are satisfied with the littlest of things nevertheless
The playful vertebrates are extremely smart
Men and women overseas are guarded by these brave creatures
Because they are equipped to smell the bomb and the ground apart
Going to athletics and sitting on the bleachers
Is now made possible by service dogs for those who need them
They are patient when they wait for you to come home
The only thing they want in life is to be loved by someone
And sometimes play with you in the sun
Some even won’t blink an eye when kids use them for a jungle gym
Dogs are so great with children
It is a non-judgmental zone when they are
