The Importance Of Recess In High School
Whether you're in elementary or in high school, every school needs a recess period. Students work hard throughout the day, and deserve a break. They hardly ever get one. Taking a little time for exercise, or a card game will diminish the stress when it comes to work. It does have a big impact on students.
Taking a break recharges the neurons in your brain which connects to the problem solving and creativity. Many students can get overwhelmed, and frustrated when doing school work. Some educators believe that recess is a distraction to children, but recess is beneficial. They just need an opportunity to just release some stress through physical activity, which allows them recharge their brains. After recess children are less likely to be antsy
