The Dragon In Beowulf
The Dragon punishes anyone that violates his treasure Wiglaf and Beowulf overcame the evil together. Beowulf got wounded and now his own death is coming soon. He told his faithful warrior Wiglaf to build a tower near the sea that carries Beowulf’s remains. The tower is monument and a guide to other sailors. Beowulf’s men had no right to have the treasure. They were cowards and they didn’t aid Beowulf when he was in battle with the dragon. Wiglaf was the only warrior that stood by his lord’s side and did his last wills. The treasure could also symbolize betrayal.
