Introduction
We are the Chinese managers working in a U.S foreign trade company-Foreign-Trade Zone Corporation. Recently, 18 Chinese elites were employed. As cultural conflicts are inevitable sometimes between businessmen from different cultures, cross-cultural training is necessary to increase adjustment. Business letter writing is an important part of cross-cultural training, so first of all, we are going to train our company’s new Chinese employers about email writing style.

Our company-Foreign-Trade Zone is the biggest manufacturer and exporter of nitric acid 68% in U.S. Our market expands to Asia, South America, and mid-east more than 20 countries.

Format
Business email functions as both an internal and an external method of communication; its three main formatting elements are the heading, the body, and a signature block. Depending upon the nature of its correspondence and, at the discretion of the writer, business email may also include a salutation and a complimentary close. Heading
Email programs include fields for the addressee, subject of the email, attachments and additional addressees. Make your subject line clear and concise, indicating the intent of the message. Don 't use abbreviations or words in all capital letters.

Open the body of your email with a standard greeting, such as "Dear Mr. Smith:" if it 's your first email to the recipient. Less formal greetings, such as using a

In my organization, emails messages are largely used to communication inside and outside of the organization.     As noted in Appendix A-A basic communication model, “the basic communications model is the starting point for analyzing the communications process in terms of the intent of the sender, the needs of the receiver, and the elements of the communications environment” (University of Phoenix, 2009, para. 1).
